Winick Realty Group LLC Leases Upper East Side Space to 7-Eleven
New York, New York -
7-Eleven, the Dallas, Texas-based convenience store chain with 6,000 stores across the U.S., continued its plans for expansion in the New York market by leasing a new 2,300-square-foot storefront at 1235 Second Avenue, on the corner of East 65th Street.
The store, which was previously occupied by restaurant Asia Grill, sits at the base of a residential building in one of the most affluent sections of the Upper East Side. 7-Eleven is poised to draw from not only the heavy residential population in the area but the foot traffic generated by nearby Hunter College, as well as two movie theaters and three world renowned hospital centers in the area.
7-Eleven was represented by Ariel Schuster of Robert K. Futterman & Associates, while landlord Madison Capital was represented by Winick Realty Group LLC Executive Vice President Darrell Rubens and his associate Annie Shinn.
Rubens and Shinn are continuing to market 1,612 square feet of retail on behalf of Madison Capital. The available retail space sits between the new 7-Eleven and a CVS and features 50 feet of frontage on Second Avenue.
