eVgo (ee-vee-go) is a privately funded electric vehicle (EV) fast charging network offering the fueling station of the future, free of charge, to qualified real estate partners. eVgo is investing approximately $150 million in the California, Texas, Washington D.C., Baltimore, MD and Northern Virginia markets to support EV adoption.

By providing a fueling station for Electric Vehicles, retail centers are demonstrating a commitment to America’s future by encouraging environmental sustainability and a decreased dependence on foreign oil. Our research has shown that even consumers who do not drive EVs prefer doing business with companies that support these goals with EV charging installations. eVgo is currently partnered with Walgreens, Cracker Barrel, HEB, Park ‘N Fly, Best Buy among others.

eVgo, part of NRG Energy Inc., a Fortune 300 company, recently agreed with the California Public Utilities Commission to build an electric vehicle charging network in California. The investment of $100 million dollars over four years will build at least 200 eVgo fast-charging Freedom Stations that can add 50 miles of range in 15 minutes as well as infrastructure to support at least 10,000 charging units at multifamily, workplace and public facility locations to help the state reach its clean energy goals and its Zero Emissions Vehicle mandate of 1.5 million clean on California roads by 2025.

Additionally, eVgo will be meeting with real estate partners to discuss qualifications for free eVgo Freedom Station installation in eVgo Booth #C207L (Central Hall 5) at ICSC RECon in Las Vegas where the fully electric Nissan Leaf and BMW ActiveE will be on display.
